chocolate porridge
Healthy twist on a chocolate porridge.
Ingredients
- 1/2 courgette ( zucchini)
- 1-2 tbsp of cocoa powder
- 1 tsp of maca powder
- 1/4 cup of oats
- 1 tbsp of chia seeds
- 2 tsp of maple syrup
- 1 tsp of almond butter (or any other nut butter)
Directions
- Grate the courgette and place in a pan with the oats, chia seeds, maple syrup, cocoa and maca powder.
- Add 1/2 cup of water and place on a medium-high heat.
- Stir continuously for about 10 min.
- take off heat, place into a bowl and add the almond butter and your favourite fruit topping (ex: banana, pomegranate, strawberries, raspberries … )
